Production accountants and bookkeepers are provided on a daily basis to companies for bookkeeping, production accountancy and company accountancy roles. Norman Clarke is the senior accountant with a broad experience range that covers company a/cs, production a/cs (documentaries and light entertainment), auditing experience, fault-finding etc… The company consists of 4 or 5 permanent staff and is associated with other well known production accountants in the film and TV industry. These associates are called in as and when necessary to expand and contract in line with the busy and quiet periods that some companies experience. General services provided to TV Companies:- Developing and implementing accounting systems for general accounting and TV production accounting. Normal a/cs processing incl bought/sales and nominal ledgers. VAT returns, Inland Revenue returns, (incl – monthly PAYE, EOY P35s, P60s, Pllds & 46R1’s), Payroll including Directors NIC Averaging. Preparing end of year accounts/audit file for auditors and liaison with auditors in agreeing final position. Establishing proper accounting records and procedures in companies where the accounting has been substandard. Norman Clarke’s experience includes countless productions for not only documentaries (at between £35k and £1.5m) but also light entertainment shows with budgets of £3million plus. (over a production period of 4 or 5mths)
