Norse Log Homes specializes in quality handcrafted custom log buildings using a scribe-fit Scandinavian notched energy efficient log. Whether you’re interested in a mountaintop log ski chalet, a log cabin on a secluded lake, a unique log office building, a log cabin resort development, or your own dream log home, we can build to suit your needs. We also supply and build with round post and beam as well as squared timber frame construction. We work with small projects, including picnic tables, outdoor kitchen, pool shelters, horse shelters, playgrounds, etc. We pre-build each project in our construction yard and ship world wide for a fast set up of usually 2 days. Our office and main construction yard is located 5 minutes north of Nanaimo on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We have excellent Douglas Fir on the Island, the best in the world in our opinion. We primarily build with Douglas Fir but can also work with Western Red Cedar and Yellow Cedar. Currently run and managed by second generation log builders, we believe everybody should have the opportunity to own a log home and can work within budget constraints.
