About North Arm Transportation
Headquartered on the north arm of the Fraser River with an office and land-side fuel operation in Masset and loading facilities in Richmond on Mitchell Island, North Arm Transportation uses the best practices, people, and equipment to operate a fleet of tugs and barges. We provide marine towing, fuel sales, and freight/equipment hauling services to all parts of the BC coast from Vancouver to small, coastal communities and industrial operations. North Arm Transportation is a Lloyd’s Register certified, privately held, fuel and freight marine transportation company. North Arm moves over 45,000 tons of combined petroleum products and freight along the BC coast to more than fifty regular destinations and another 400,000 tons of bulk commodities and containers by barge annually. Unique to Canada, we are the only company nationwide with Class A certification combination double-hull fuel and freight barges.
