Organizing events where our customers can exchange their old incandescent light bulbs for new energy-efficient compact fluorescent ones is just one of the things that we are doing to fulfill our mandate of a greener North Bay. - We are 100% self-funded through electrical distribution rates and service charges - We pay taxes, we are not funded or subsidized by taxes - North Bay Hydro staff includes 43 full-time employees - We receive an average of 1,800 customer contact calls per month - We respond to an average of 130 service calls per month - We read an average of 23,000 meters per month
