About North Carolina Justice Academy
The North Carolina Justice Academy has two campuses, one in Salemburg and the other in Edneyville, where we offer training programs to criminal justice personnel; provide technical assistance to criminal justice agencies upon request, and develop and distribute educational and training materials. The mission of the North Carolina Justice Academy is to enhance the careers of criminal justice officers through research, education, and training. We pride ourselves on being Relevant, Innovative, Timely, and Engaging (R.I.T.E.) in all areas of the curriculum. Our Training Division has a team of experienced and dedicated instructors that are the best in Research and Development, Law Enforcement Leadership, Commission and In-Service, Tactical and Traffic, and Investigations. The Support Division operates a 20,000-volume library, an audiovisual production department, a full-service print shop, and an educational research team.
