About North Herts Speakers Club

North Herts Speakers is a very friendly public speaking club meeting twice a month, once on Zoom and once in-person at the Cloisters in Letchworth. We welcome people who would like to become more confident communicators and leaders. Whether you have a wedding speech coming up, a presentation at work, or if just want to become more confident, Toastmasters can really help. We are part of Toastmasters International, a not-for-profit educational organisation established in 1924 by Ralph C Smedley in California who conceived and developed the idea to help others communicate more effectively. We meet on the first and third Wednesday each month We offer opportunities to: • Develop your ability to speak to groups of people • Improve your leadership skills • Be entertained, learn and laugh with like-minded people In addition you can • Build more confidence to cope with any situation • Develop greater clarity in thinking • Improve own verbal and written ability • Meet interesting people Email enquiries@northhertsspeakers.org if you'd like to visit a meeting
