About North Winds Rescue

North Winds Rescue is a 501c3 organization, dedicated to offering horses salvation from high-risk and life-threatening situations such as neglect, abuse, and slaughter. We rehabilitate them, offer them time to heal, teaching them to trust, and providing them with love. Once they have been rehabilitated, and are ready for adoption, we will go through great lengths to ensure a safe and successful partnership in their forever home. Horses have a unique, calming and healing presence; they empower us to become confident leaders of our own lives. We offer the opportunity for the rescue horses to help us improve focus, social and emotional well-being, coping and problem-solving skills while they are awaiting adoption.
