Northaven is a community that seniors can call “home.” Northaven Senior Housing provides low-income and affordable housing for people seeking an independent living and or an assisted living community. Located near Northgate Shopping Center, seniors have access to shops, restaurants and many other activities. Seniors have apartments that are spacious and private with easy accessibility. Northaven's community-based housing and supportive services are meant for seniors to enjoy every day. With activities like brain fitness, exercise classes, educational events and bus trips, seniors are sure to meet new friends and keep active. There are also places to have a quiet moment to read a good book in the library or visiting with friends in the community spaces. Northaven's staff is committed to providing great service. Many members of the team have worked at Northaven for more than 10 years. They enjoy what they do and provide continuity of care for all of our residents. As one of our team members said, “We come to work every day in our residents’ home. They do not live in our facility.” Our community is primarily made up of seniors of modest means. We are unpretentious, caring and full of life. Our residents participate in an array of activities and participate in the world around them through drives for the local foodbank, collecting supplies for school children and knitting caps and more for programs that distribute clothing in the neighborhood.
