At Northern BC Queer Connection Society, our mission is to foster connections among queer and allied communities by providing essential resources and social support. Recognizing the existing service gaps for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in this region, we aim to guide those in Prince George and surrounding areas toward available programs offered by various organizations and facilitate activities to foster connections. Our active involvement includes supporting and contributing to community capacity-building initiatives, sharing resource information and fascilitating gatherings where queer individuals can feel secure and represented. Northern BC Queer Connection Society is deeply committed to amplifying 2SLGBTQIA+ voices. Our entirely 2SLGBTQIA+ board actively seeks diverse community perspectives to shape decisions within our organization. These decisions, in turn, influence how we show up and serve the community, reflecting our dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
