About Northern Electric Company
Repair and sale of A.C & D.C. electric motors for industry in horsepower ratings from fractional to 0ver 1,000 horsepower, the larges motor we have repair to date was 2,500 horsepower. Our mechanical repair department also rebuilds gear reducers and other power transmission devices along with pumps and mixers. We have a complete lathe department which offers machiniing on CNC lathe, horizontal milling and vertical machine centers along with manual lathe capability. Our larges lathe can swing a shaft 18 feet between centers 39" inch diameter. We have an electrtonic lab that specializes in the repair of A.C & D.C. servo and robotic motors along with their related controls. We also offer the ability to come into your plant and troubleshoot any electronic control problems on servo motor or standard A.C. & D.C. motor controls. We have at this time 31 employees all of our journeyman employes had to attend and pass a 5 year electrical apprenticeship program.
