About Northern Eye Books
Northern Eye Books was formed in 2012 by a small group of dedicated outdoor experts. Our aim was to publish a range of popular, modern, and superbly designed walking books and maps for UK National Parks and long-distance routes across England, Scotland and Wales. Best sellers include the seven-book series of Official Guides to the Wales Coast Path – commissioned and endorsed by Natural Resources Wales, the Welsh government body who created and manage the Path. Together, they cover the whole 1400 kilometre/870-mile long Path from Chester in the north to Chepstow in the south. Equally popular are our Top 10 Walks series of pocket-size guides showcasing the best themed circular walks across the UK. Current regional series cover the Wales Coast Path, South West Coast Path, Lake District, Peak District, Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire, Yorkshire Dales, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs, North Wales, and Cheshire. As Ordnance Survey Partners, we also publish a growing range of large-scale 1:25,000, enhanced OS mapping atlases for long-distance UK paths and trails including the Wales Coast Path and Cheshire’s Sandstone Trail.
