About Northern Light Microscopy
Northern Light Microscopy are a recent spin-out from the University of Strathclyde developing optical solutions for biological problems. We are bringing to market a range of accessible super-resolution and advanced microscopy platforms that aim to remove the barriers to accessing the latest generation of microscopy methods and technology. Our systems allow users to extract up to twice as much spatial information from their specimens than conventional microscopy, with absolutely no change in workflow. Our patent pending light engine has allowed us to package in over 8 advanced and super-resolution imaging techniques into a fully enclosed all-in-one 24x27 cm imaging system that can be operated from a standard lab bench. And with our technology no longer do researchers have to choose between specimen throughput and spatial resolution. The NLM platform supports enhanced spatial resolution and background rejection from the throughput scales of single microscope slides, all the way up to 96+ well plates. All of this at a price point that aims to get advanced imaging into the hands of the many - and not just the few.
