About Northern Ontario Service Deliverer's Association (NOSDA)
The Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association is an incorporated body that brings together ten District Social Services Administration Boards (DSSABs) and one Consolidated Municipal Service Manager (CMSM). NOSDA was formed to develop a cooperative and collaborated approach with municipalities and municipal organizations to facilitate the consolidated municipal delivery of services in Northern Ontario. NOSDA is intended to create a political forum for reviewing and developing both policy and pro-gram issues from a Northern perspective. The group attempts to achieve the effective and efficient delivery of services in Northern Ontario through joint action and information sharing. NOSDA members are primarily responsible for the service system management of Land Ambulance, Social Housing, Child Care Management and Ontario Works. “We plan and coordinate the delivery of public services and infrastructure programs that result in measurable gains to the quality of life of Northerners”
