Northland Forest Products is a hardwood lumber processor and distributor, producing our own exclusive brand of hardwood lumber for markets in the United States and 26 countries around the world. Founded in 1970, and with a history dating back to the late 19th century, Northland Forest Products continues today as a family-run business committed to excellence, innovation and responsible forest stewardship. Northland Forest Products is also proud to have one been one of the earliest companies in North America to embrace forest certification. Since 1996, we have been chain-of-custody certified to Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) standards. Our certificate number is NC-COC-000022 and FSC license code is FSC® C017079. There are only a handful of companies still in the business that have been selling FSC®-certified wood longer than we have. FSC® is the leader in third party responsible forestry certification, and we remain committed to doing everything we can to source and market FSC®-certified lumber.
