Northport’s principals and key executives have distinguished themselves in demanding leadership positions in both the Executive and Legislative branches of Government. Northport principals and staff possess a wealth of experience and expertise staffing and managing complex requirements within the Army and the DoD. Founder, Daniel Denning has extensive experience in US Army and Veterans Affairs programs related to military and civilian Human Capital, Army manpower and force structure, National Guard and Army Reserve programs, the Military Health System and veterans benefit programs. Founder Richard Shaw’s experience is in the development of solutions for complex strategic challenges with a focus on process and performance improvement. Mr. Shaw is a process improvement Six Sigma Black Belt with expertise in building and leading teams in the development and execution of enterprise-wide business solutions. He is currently assisting the Headquarters Department of the Army with its development, planning, coordination and execution of strategic efforts to reduce sexual harassment and sexual assault across the force. Founder Frederic Corle served as a Policy Analyst in the Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Civil Works Programs. This White House assignment required expertise in principles and methods of analyzing and improving organizations, identifying and addressing major operating problems in federal programs and a thorough understanding of budget administration, appraisal of budgetary requirements and Federal acquisition procedures.
