About Northstar Projects

Northstar Projects helps organisations deliver complex projects using Project Controls. Project Controls are a system of planning and analytical disciplines that provide data to make the best-informed decisions. It includes specialisations such as participatory planning, scheduling, cost estimation and control, risk management, change control, and PMO design. The OECD estimates that $70 trillion in infrastructure “megaprojects” are needed around the world by 2030. To achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, an estimated $2-3 trillion of initiatives per year is required. The potential for waste, corruption and project failure is high – making the need for rigorous, scalable and human-centred Project Controls essential to each project's success. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT As well as providing Project Control services, Northstar Projects is a training guild, helping to develop Project Control professionals in a business environment severally lacking in these highly skilled professionals. Our goal is to reinvigorate and reinvent the discipline - creating a frontier between the modern techniques that sent humans to the moon and the contemporary, participatory, and people-centred approaches of the present.
