About Northwest Montana History Museum

Housed in Kalispell's oldest public building--built in 1894 and a National Historic Landmark--the Northwest Montana History Museum preserves and presents regional history from a collection of thousands of artifacts. In addition to nine exhibition spaces across 4,000 square feet, we offer room rentals and host approximately 100 events annually. We rely on a corps of 30 to 50 volunteers who contribute 10,000 hours annually. We welcome visitors, volunteers and supporting members from Northwest Montana and beyond. Join us! Regular museum hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
