About Not Impossible

Work experience reimagined. Not Impossible is on a mission to fuel social mobility by creating a microplacement movement in the South-West of the UK. Designed for busy employers, hosting work experience is now easy and effective via a new marketplace approach. This removes the need for family connections, means young people get multiple opportunities to find work that matters to them, and employers meet talented young people (16-25) from less advantaged backgrounds. It is very different to traditional work experience with: 1. Simple 1-hour to 1-day microplacements based around employee availability. 2. Smart matches with local 16-25-year-olds who share employee passions/personalities. 3. Logistics, including best practice activities, arranged by us. It’s an easy, high-impact in-office volunteering day for organisations, a simple but practical way to introduce more young people into work and a tangible action to advance DEI outcomes. We’re currently running a pilot and growing the community of employers/young people and would love to hear from people willing to be involved!
