Not Your Typical First Lady is 10 years in the making by verbal annotations of the title. From the beginning of my marriage, I have heard individuals comment on the religious traditions of how to dress, what colors to wear, when to speak, when to eat, when to sleep, do this, don't do that and so on and on. My responds remains and will continue to be the same, "I am not your typical first lady!" Tradition and religion do not live here! Not Your Typical First Lady, the organization was birthed at the end of a 36 year tenure from a secular local government job. At the lowest point in my life, the Lord did not allow me to lay down and feel sorry for myself. He gave me an assignment to establish this organization to connect with like-minded women who need a safe haven to fellowship, teach and learn with one another. Not Your Typical First Lady was created as an aide to women who are, were or will be in the capacity of a first lady or armor bearer in the church or similar atmosphere. This organization provides insight into those roles as well as addressing the stereotypical labels, self-esteem and strength of the beholder. In this environment, women will embrace, educate and gain support from one another by identifying their primary and secondary love language and renewing of the mind of their own sexuality in the church. We will address and form conclusions on how to deal with issues of infidelity, erectile dysfunction, disrespectful members and other topics as they arise. Memberships, partnerships, donations, sponsorships and grants will contribute to the chartable component of Not Your Typical First Lady by aiding our communities with care packets with assistant in providing proposed food, transportation and temporary housing vouchers will be issued upon determination of qualification. The ultimate goal is to get families off the streets and into permanent housing.
