About Notpfote Animal Rescue

Notpfote Animal Rescue e.V. (NAREV) is a non-profit animal welfare association from Düsseldorf with all permits and several branch offices and over 200 registered foster care centers throughout Germany. He has been successfully cooperating with many German and foreign animal shelters in various projects since 2011: The sanctuary project for older and sick animals who get the chance to spend their retirement years on a warm sofa from the animal shelters. The Seniors for Seniors project has become known nationwide for finding animal companions for seniors who have been looking for an animal in vain for a long time and cannot get it. This resulted in the Seniors for Animal Welfare project, which focuses primarily on the reintegration of older people into classic animal welfare work, placement assistance and care in foster care. Since 2020, the association has also financed the wild animal project # Wildpfote.de, which provides several reintroduction stations and various care workers for the greater Düsseldorf, Neuss and Dormagen areas as far as Meerbusch. As part of the wild animal project, the first German plumage animal shelter # Federheim.de was built in Neuss in 2020. The focus here is on old breeding hens from factory farming, but wild ducks and geese and their offspring also come together via the cross-connection with the wild animal project on an area of 1,300 square meters in Neuss-Rosellerheide and are cared for there. Those who cannot be released or placed in the wild can of course spend their old age in the sanctuary area. All these projects are accompanied and supplemented by the animal welfare teacher project, through which we bring children and young people closer to the topics of nature and environmental protection - including its critical aspects such as factory farming and its consequences.
