About Nottingham High School
Nottingham High School is an independent day school situated about a mile north of Nottingham city centre, with over a thousand pupils from ages 4 to 18. We are made up of a Senior School and Sixth Form, the adjoining Nottingham High Junior School and Lovell House Infant School. Founded in 1513, the school has a rich heritage with a proud and passionate community of alumni spread around the world. We are a co-educational school and have been welcoming girls into all year groups since September 2015. At Nottingham High School we have a well-deserved national reputation both for our academic success and for the high standards achieved in the wide range of activities we offer. We were named the Sunday Times East Midlands Independent Secondary School of the Year in 2019, and are listed in The Telegraph's "Ten of the best value private schools in the UK" list in January 2020.
