About Nottingham High School (Hamilton North)
Nottingham High School (also formally known as Hamilton High School North) is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades located in Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. It operates as one of the three secondary schools of the Hamilton Township School District alongside Steinert High School (Hamilton East) and Hamilton High School West. The Nottingham High School learning community is committed to inspire in our students a desire for learning and an awareness that the pursuit of learning is a lifelong process. We are constantly striving to promote an educational environment that encourages students to develop respect for themselves and others in addition to the academic, technological and vocational skills that will enable them to become successful citizens in a diverse and complex society. We are also striving to maximize the potential of each individual in our heterogeneous, multicultural student body by offering a strong academic program and a variety of extra and co-curricular activities. The use of exemplary teaching practices is apparent in our classrooms. Through our district's outstanding staff development program, our teachers are employing a wide range of techniques and interaction, all designed to potentiate the learning connection between teacher and student. High levels of student achievement and performance come as a result through a commitment by staff to develop in our students diligent life qualities. Many incentives are provided by our parent support groups to help us create this climate. Our students continually participate and win honors on the athletic fields, in the arts, and in the academic arenas. We are proud of the efforts of all of the members of the Nottingham High School learning community and are looking onward and upward for the future.
