With over 30 years of combined student advising and mentoring experience, Noumena Education Initiative (NEI) and its associates aim to become leaders in private education advising. To truly excel, a student must go beyond simply achieving high scores on standardized exams or earning a 4.0. Through its unique and methodical approach to education, commitment to students, and focus on holistic and foundational learning both in and out of the classroom, Noumena continues to provide students with the resources necessary to achieve their academic and life goals. Rather than focus on end results, our approach emphasizes the importance of the ways in which knowledge and the process of learning can truly empower an individual to excel in life. True education should balance skill acquisition and character development, not tricks to improve scores or shortcuts to receive acceptance from top schools. Ironically, this “true education” approach has yielded better academic results for students. By helping students recognize and harness the intrinsic value of education, their goals become not only more realistic but also a necessary byproduct of their ethos.
