About Nourish New England
Nourish New England (NNE) is a newly minted nonprofit organization. Our mission is to unite regions, expand knowledge and awareness, and celebrate global traditions through the joy of Food & Beverage culture in New England. We aim to enhance public understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, foster economic growth, promote learning, and create an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can come together and enjoy. Our fundraising activities support other nonprofit organizations and charitable activities such as, but not limited to, food banks, soup kitchens, and cultural and youth organizations. NNE was organized exclusively for charitable and/or educational (non-degree granting) purposes within New Hampshire law including RSA Chap. 292 and within the scope of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We generate revenue through: • Assisting other non-profits to put on their event: In exchange for our help, we hold fundraising activities at our partner’s event such as selling food or water, hosting educational demonstrations, putting on food & beverage contests, and requesting donations. • Corporate Sponsorships: Partnering with businesses and foundations to support our event operations and charitable initiatives. • Merchandise Sales: Selling branded event merchandise for our events and social media entities. • Event Hosting: When hosting events, we will generate revenue through the fundraising activities above and additionally request vendor fees from stall rentals. We will also gain revenue from ticket sales and fundraising campaigns within community events.
