Nova Tissue is a family-run UK paper converter and manufacturer of quality toilet tissue and kitchen towel, based in the North West of England (established in 1984 as Rose Tissues) At our purpose built, well-maintained 35,000 sq ft facility, we convert 450 tonnes of paper per month into disposable household products for the consumer and ‘away-from-home’ markets across Europe. This includes both our own brand products and bespoke private label products, which enable customers to sell our toilet tissue and kitchen towel as their own. We know it’s a bit sad, but we’re really passionate about paper conversion and we really enjoy what we do – and this rubs off on our customers. Our team of just under 50 staff, from full time engineers and health & safety managers, to machine operators and warehouse assistants, are always looking out for what others in the industry are doing and how we can do it better. Because we’ve been in the business of making toilet tissue and kitchen towel for so long, we know what works/sells and what doesn’t when it comes to product, packaging, pack format and branding. For example, the price marked packs we produce result in a 12% increase in sales. We are on first name terms with our customers who are spread across Europe and include buyers from retail multiples, wholesalers, cash and carry outlets, janitorial supplies companies, facilities management companies and hotel/pub/leisure chains, and offer them a responsive, reliable delivery service to ensure they get what they need, when they need it. We are happy to quote in Euros or GBP. We are working towards gaining the ‘FSC Chain of Custody’ accreditation so that we can label our FSC products to enable consumers to identify products that support responsible forest management. We are also looking into carbon offsetting schemes to help to minimise our impact on the environment.
