Nova TV is Croatia's first private commercial television and the leading broadcaster on the market. The channel was launched in 2000 and from 2018. owned by media company Slovenia Broadband, which is part of the leading global investment fund KKR. The company is actively pursuing its multichannel and multimedia strategy, and today it is running several TV stations besides Nova TV: Doma TV, specialized entertainment channel, international Nova World channel and cable specialized children’s channel Mini TV. Nova TV Group is the indisputable leader on the Croatian media market: it has created the most watched news and entertainment program, and it successfully launches its own productions on the international market. Nova TV Group has also launched the most watched specialized program today, and it determines trends in the field of online media.
