About Novaturient Pilates
Novaturient; Desiring or seeking a powerful change in ones life, situation or behavior. Our studio combines our passion for holistically training the body with our love for classical Pilates and functional fitness. In this way we cater for our clients needs entirely; from when they first enter our studio requiring rehabilitation and a drastic change for the sake of their health, all the way through to providing cross training for their extra curricular fitness activities. What does holistically training the body mean; holistic training is a method that prepares learners to succeed in real performance situations. By weaving together training content from multiple angles and in multiple formats, holistic training gives learners an immersive understanding of a topic. One of our goals is to use our knowledge of Pilates and the anatomy to educate our clientele about their own bodies, we aim to immerse our clients in their own bodies, creating more or better body awareness. We combined this holistic approach to training with Classical Pilates and Functional Fitness to give our clients a well rounded fitness routine that helps to rehabilitate previous injuries and balance the body to prevent any further injuries from reoccurring, while always working towards new goal which may include weight loss, toning, increased flexibility, building muscle, strength and endurance, or to simply return to a much loved recreational activity such as Saturday morning park runs, golf, mountain biking, hiking etc. We use Pilates as a cross-training tool to give you better body awareness, a more functional body that can complete daily tasks more effectively and efficiently , to enable you to have a better quality of life.
