The craft of fiction writing will be taught by video, with supplemental worksheets, templates, checklists, and writing exercises meant to develop all of the elements of fiction, including your writing space, reading like a writer, what a novel is, what the structure of a novel should be, how to begin your novel with a compelling hook and first chapter, as well as genre, character development, description, plots and subplots, exposition, inciting incidents, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution, dénouement, building compelling scenes, tension, dialogue and dialogue tags, world building, beginnings, middles, and ends, editing, rewriting, querying agents, and much more. There will also be the opportunity for one on one "workshopping" sessions, where writers will be able to receive feedback and constructive criticism on their novels, as well as guidance on what to do once your novel is ready for publication.
