Our story begins in 1964 in Isola d’Ishcia, Italy, where Guiseppe Di Meglio and his family started building themselves a beautifully constructed home from the ground up. Only 17, he already had six years in the building trade and had developed his firmly-held belief to do things the right way, the first time, to ensure lasting results. When Guiseppe set up his own construction company in Vancouver, he was already well-known in the local industry for his integrity, work ethic and high standards. His son, Joele, was introduced to the building site at age eight, learning the ropes and eventually apprenticing under Guiseppe. Joele worked many years with his father, acquiring his master craftsmanship. In 2010 Joele struck out on his own, building upon what his father had started and shifting the business to be more customer centric. Guiseppe’s values still hold true on every single job site: An uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship means there are no shortcuts. Honesty is the best policy. Dedication to hard work, while getting the job done right. Joele’s values incorporate a commitment to putting the customer first.
