About Novus Underwriting

Novus Underwriting is an MGA specialising Warranty and Affinity business, helping our brokers to establish schemes for their clients. The business was set up by the leaders of Aventum Group in 2017, when they recognised this sector was an underserved area of the specialty insurance market. They identified the best underwriting talent in this field and founded Novus with the promise of taking this niche class to new levels of excellence. The team have fulfilled this promise, building a talented group of people, opening offices in London, Brussels & Hong Kong office to provide a truly global proposition. Today Novus is part of Rokstone Group, the group MGA of Aventum, which itself has offices located around the world, and writes over $750m of (re)insurance premium annually. Through our close connections with Rokstone and Aventum, which today has grown to a group controlling over $1.1bn of premium, we have access to vast resource that enables us to keep developing and enhancing our offering. We offer bespoke consumer warranty and financial protection products across multiple territories around the world, either on a short term or medium term basis. We now have a leading reputation in these niche markets, which means we can work with partners who are strategically aligned with ourselves to provide the best solutions for clients. We are continually working with our brokers to understand where we need to expand our product set to meet demand, with a view to continued growth for Novus and our partners.
