About NOW-ID

NOW-ID creates innovative work, including performance events, workshops, design, books, and videos, at the intersection of design and choreography for artists and audiences, in collaboration with local, national, and international partners from a range of creative fields. We passionately believe in the power of art and design to connect, inspire, and positively transform society. We are committed to creating high-quality work that provides audiences, observers, partners, and participants with new and unexpected experiences and inspiration to create and collaborate. NOW-ID was founded in 2013 by Choreographer Charlotte Boye-Christensen and Architect Nathan Webster. So far, the company has created and produced 18 evening-length, interdisciplinary, and site-specific productions, offered numerous symposia and workshops on site-specific interdisciplinarity, technique, and choreography, collaborated with a host of artists/designers/opera singers/theatre directors, and toured in the United States as well as internationally to critical acclaim. NOW-ID has partnered with several organizations and institutions over the years such as the Copenhagen Opera Festival, Arts Access Victoria located in Australia, The University of Richmond, Wichita State University, the Figura Ensemble in Copenhagen, Texas Tech University, Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, The University of Utah, the BBOY Federation, Left of Main in Vancouver and the University of British Columbia.
