About Nowhere Collective
Nowhere Collective powers a two-step model of participatory production by linking artisans to local reusable supplies and driving upcycled good sales through transparency and narrative. Rather than pull more natural resources from the planet or add to our nearly full landfills, our collective of REmakers find new purpose and new life for stuff that might typically be perceived as broken or outdated. These handmade artisans enrich our local culture and strengthen community ties. So Nowhere Collective exists to help them unleash their innovation and creative skills to combat a global supply chain that's built for mass manufacturing, resource extraction, and waste. Since December 2022, our primary activity for fueling participatory production has included in-person Trashy Markets and REmaker Meetups. In April 2025, we launched the digital marketplace to connect local community members who have materials with the artisans collecting materials for transformation.
