The NPSA is the peak industry body representing Australia’s CSO wholesale medicine distributors. NPSA members operate at the heart of the nation’s health system linking all Australians to PBS medicines at more than 5,900 community pharmacies and primary healthcare facilities around the country. Every day through our network of 27 state-of-the-art Distribution Centres NPSA members manage, dispatch and deliver more than 2 million PBS medicines, vaccines, and healthcare products. Our critical role in delivering the PBS is made possible by our direct Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Agreement (PWA) with Government and the Community Service Obligation (CSO). This partnership ensures that all Australians have equal, safe and timely access to the vital medicines they need, no matter where they live. Strong links save lives.
