NSI (Niedersächsisches Studieninstitut für kommunale Verwaltung e. V.) is a registered non-profit organization based in Hanover and the legal holder of the Municipal University for Administration in Lower Saxony (Kommunale Hochschule für Verwaltung in Niedersachsen). With 50 professors and lecturers, 500 trainers and 600 part-time lecturers, we provide vocational and university education as well as employee training to 4.000 prospective leaders and 15.000 officials each year. Given our academic and vocational centers in Braunschweig, Hanover, Oldenburg and Osnabrück and 16 external seminar locations, we are the leading educational service provider for trainees, employees and civil servants in public administration and management in Lower Saxony. We are devoted to excellence in education and furthering public managers who make a difference. Additionally, we dedicate ourselves to participate in the progress and further development of the state and society by creating, transferring, disseminating and critically assessing relevant knowledge. Thus, vocational training, university studies and continuous professional development are not just major topics for our students, but also for us and our lecturers.
