About NSR Communications

NSR Communications Ltd is a family run business based in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. We were established in 1948 by Alex Walker and are now owned and run by his son, daughter in law and two grandsons, who maintain the standards he originally set. Our business supplies Technical Services to events nationwide. We cover hire, and sale, of Public Address (PA) Systems, Audio and Visual Equipment, Judges/Commentary/Hospitality Units/Trailers, Two Way Radio (Walkie Talkie) Communications and Sports Timing including Equestrian Sports Timing. Some of our clients have been with us for almost 40 years. We also supply and install permanent sound and vision systems. With many years of experience in servicing some of the country’s biggest events. From sporting events such as the London Marathon, the Nike 10k Run and the London to Brighton Cycle Ride. Agricultural events such as the Royal Bath and West Show, Devon County Show and South of England Show. And also Air Shows and military events and celebrations nationwide. Some of which are special one off productions and some feature in our current annual diary and have done for many years. The Royal Navy events have ranged from HM the Queen’s Colour Presentation, The Fleet and Air Days at RNAS Culdrose and Yeovilton, Navy Days at HMNB Devonport and “Exercise Shop Window”, displays at sea around the UK with HMS Ark Royal and its task group. Other air displays include those for the Royal Air Force at RAF Cosford; Imperial War Museum at Duxford and the United States Air Force’s former Air Fete at RAF Mildenhall.
