Nuclear Liabilities Fund Limited is the operating company for The Nuclear Trust, a Scottish public trust established in March 1996 to set aside and ring-fence decommissioning funds. Three stations have ceased generation and have entered the decommissioning phase, which comprises reactor defueling and the deconstruction of station infrastructure. Planning for decommissioning is underway for the other Advanced Gas-cooled Reactor ('AGR') stations. Final site clearance is expected to take over 100 years from end of generation.
