About Nude Bayou

Nude Bayou was born out of a need for me to find my own nude. My entire childhood, I never understood that the concept of nude was the unique skin tone that you were born in. Once I understood that, I became obsessed with finding nude skin tones for myself, to wear under costumes, and even everyday clothing, mesh and the like. As a dancer and a consumer, I realized the need for it because every dancer I spoke to felt the same way. And so the vision of the Louisiana Bayou came to mind. The Bayou reminds me of a rich deep culture of mixtures and brown hues from fair to dark.
