About NUNA studio

NUNA studio is an award-winning design and technology start-up founded to address the poor ecological state of our urban environments and the lack of biodiverse life in cities. At NUNA we create "nature-based solutions" as sustainable and scalable architectural products, so to promote an ecological interface between our built environment (architecture) and our external natural world which is endlessly renewing and biodiverse. Our first product, the NUNA lattice, is an innovative Living Wall system made of low carbon bio-materials, with a proprietary geometry that promotes healthy plant growth and increased water retention. Originally developed as a masters project at UCL to tackle the challenges of high maintenance costs and unsustainable materials that has limited the uptake of vertical greening solutions. This innovative technology takes a first principles approach that has won international awards and is backed leading industry partners.
