About Nurse Lifeline
The Nurse Lifeline support service is no longer open, but if you are in crisis there is help available: Samaritans on 116 123 NHS Mental Health Crisis Line 111 Cavell Nurses Trust 01527 595 999 You are not alone. The support service is not available because at the end of 2024 the Board of Trustees had to make the difficult decision to close the charity Nurse Lifeline. For the last 24 months, we have worked tirelessly to secure sustainable funding, exploring every available option – public, commercial and philanthropic – to underpin our core costs and enable growth. Despite these efforts and for reasons outside of our influence, we have been unable to secure sufficient funds to ensure Nurse Lifeline’s ongoing viability. We are proud of the impact that Nurse Lifeline has had over the last 5 years and the vital support that we have been able to provide to the nurses and midwives who contacted us when they were in crisis, struggling or just needed someone to talk to. We will always be humbled by your courage and hope that you found support from speaking with us.
