Hei there! We’re Nursebuddy: a Finnish-based company on a mission to reinvent homecare through smart, innovative technology. We want everyone - regardless of age, location or income - to be able to receive the homecare they need to have the best quality of life. Nursebuddy is a domiciliary care management platform designed to connect the homecare kylä: bringing homecare organisations, care workers and families together in one smart software platform. Our mission is to provide everyone in this kylä with the support they need to fully focus on the things that make a difference in a care recipient’s life. - Homecare providers can plan and oversee their care delivery in Nursebuddy, with the benefit of real-time information sharing and a tonne of time-saving tools - Carers have all the information they need to deliver high quality homecare, thanks to their Nursebuddy app, and without annoying distractions. - Families can check how their loved ones are doing by logging-in securely to our Nursebuddy family portal, available from anywhere in the world. - Health professionals and informal carers can also use Nursebuddy’s family portal to get an update on the people in their care. Both of our co-founders, Simo and Antero, have family members and friends working in the homecare sector in Finland. Watching them struggle, they learned that the current systems and practices for coordinating care and sharing important information between several stakeholders are poor and cause many problems. Just as in the UK & Ireland. They wanted to build something with a large societal impact. And so in 2012, Nursebuddy was born.
