MORTARLESS INTERLOCKING BLOCK SYSTEMS ADVANTAGES: Massive time and cost savings due to less labor-intensive production compared to standard CMU blocks. These hollow center blocks are fully interlocking, mortarless, self-aligning, and use unskilled labor and native materials to the area to build homes 5x faster. LOWER LABOR COSTS: Can be installed by unskilled labor quickly – at a minimum rate 5x faster than a standard CMU. No mortar, pins or connections speed up installation. LOWER FREIGHT COSTS: Manufacturer and cure on the job site to eliminate freight and shipping costs entirely. MASON FRIENDLY: Weighing half as much as standard CMUs and easier to install due to mortarless and self-aligning design that interlocks horizontally and vertically does not require skilled labor. TIME SAVINGS: Average mason crew (1-mason +2-helpers) can lay 150-200 CMU per day, while a 3-person (unskilled) interlocking block crew can lay up to 1000 blocks per day. Hollow center makes for faster curing time and easier handling to speed up the process. DESIGN FLEXIBILITY: Blocks are made with holes for rebar or conduits to run electric and plumbing with rebar and concrete filled in every few feet. STRENGTH: Interlocking with full and ½ size blocks increase strength and PSI so blocks can be used in hurricane and earthquake prone areas. FINISH- minimize moisture in bricks/smell with materials added in mixing phase or spray finished block with cementitious or acrylic-bonding with fiberglass mesh or plastic fibers as a rain and air barrier.
