With the rise of the Metaverse and the slow adoption of smart glasses , there is a gradual transition of consuming content in the 2D space to the 3D space. Our mission is to create a community of XR enthusiasts at Northeastern University who are passionate about exploring the potential of immersive technologies. We strive to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among students interested in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. Our goal is to foster a creative and innovative environment where members can develop their skills, learn from experts in the field, and contribute to the advancement of XR technologies and to exploring the ethical and societal implications of XR.
