NVU Naturals was formed gradually and without awareness of the possibilities of becoming a business. Aware of so many products having unwanted ingredients and having to buy 2-3 items to do the jobs necessary to care for my skin and hair, I began making my own. I began to package them and give as gifts to friends and family, but when they would come back for more, I thought I could possibly do something with this. While brainstorming with my Daughter of names for the company NVU (which is a play on words - envy you) was born. NVU Naturals was created because of the low availability of skincare, hair care and bath essentials made with only natural ingredients. Did you know that the majority of store-bought, commercially-produced beauty products come packed with artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives and stabilizers that can easily be absorbed through the skin? Your skin is your largest organ and your pores absorbs what is placed on it and can potentially cause a range of negative long-term health effects? I am a proud Grandmother of 7, with one on the way. And I want to not only be their Grandmother, but a role model to them as I advocate for long-term health, and confidence from the inside out.
