About NW Architects

NW Architects was established in 2005 by Nick Watson. Nick’s decision to found his own practice was born out of a deep rooted desire to deliver inspiring and sustainable buildings & spaces by providing a professional, personal service. Since 2005 the practice has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from small domestic extensions through to multi-million pound shopping centres and everything in between. The main sectors of work include retail, private residential, student accommodation, commercial and energy from waste. A selection of current projects includes; 86,000sq.ft superstore, several large retail units, £2m private residence, private residential development for 14 dwellings, coffee retail kiosk, fast food drive-thru and a £55m town centre redevelopment. The practice also has a strong technical background having delivered a number of challenging schemes on site, along with a thorough understanding of the latest materials and building techniques. As a commercially aware practice, NW Architects understand that it must work with developers not only to design modern and striking architecture at all levels but also to deliver projects on budget and on programme.
