About nWave Studios

nWave Studios – Telling stories in 3D for over 30 years... nWave Studios is an independent European animation studio based in Brussels and now Liège, creating original 3D films for audiences around the world. Since 1994, we’ve brought to life over 120 animated projects — from feature films to theme park rides and short films. You might know us from Fly Me to the Moon, Sammy’s Adventures, The Queen’s Corgi, or Bigfoot Family. More recently, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness (2022) and The Inseparables (2023) reached audiences in cinemas and on streaming platforms across the globe. Over the years, our work has earned more than 20 international awards and 10 major festival nominations. Our films have also been nominated twice at the Annecy International Animation Festival, including Bigfoot Family and The Inseparables. Every year, we’re at Annecy to celebrate animation, share our latest work, and meet new talent. With several productions in progress, we host screenings and meet passionate artists who may be the perfect fit for our growing international team. Chickenhare and the Secret of the Groundhog is coming in 2025, followed by Yugly in 2026. And we’re not just making movies — our newest theme park attraction, Meg and the Quest for the Holy Spork, is bringing our stories to life in new ways.
