About NY Scholastic Chess Club
New York Scholastic Chess Club offers curriculum chess and after-school programs to schools, private lessons for groups and individuals, host tournaments and run chess camps during school breaks. Our programs are tailored to students ranging from absolute beginner to national champions. In 2018 alone our schools had multiple top 5 team finishes at the New York City Championships as well as an individual champion and many top 10 individual finishes. We also had top 2 finishes as a team and individually at Girls Nationals in Chicago. At the Nationals one of our schools sent 3rd most students of any school in the nation. NYSCC had multiple top 5 and top 10 team finishes as well as an individual National Champion!
