About Nyack Boat Club Junior Sailing
Nyack Boat Club Junior Sailing is the best summer sailing experience a kid can have. NBC Junior Sailing is an extremely successful sail training program for children, 8 to 15 years of age. Junior sailors attending the program sail and race Optimists, 420s and Lasers, and all of our instructors are USSA certified. We run two four-week sessions over the summer, generally beginning the last week of June and the last week of July. Our mission is to support the development of junior sailors through recreational sailing, sailboat racing and other marine pursuits as well as advancing their seamanship and navigation skills, and fostering a lifelong passion for sailing. The sailing instructional program follow the general and safety guidelines developed by the NBC Board, the Junior Sailing Association of Long Island Sound, U.S. Sailing Association, U.S. Optimist Dinghy Association and Club 420 Association. If you are interested in learning more or have a child who is interested in participating in the program, please contact the program director, Richard Feldman at richard@maxxmarketing.biz.
