About NyanaNyana eco-friendly fashion
Nyananyana is a Singapore-based brand since 2019 and a member of Singapore's Social Enterprise (raiSE) since year 2020. We offer eco-friendly alternative to mainstream fast fashion industry by not using synthetic fibers which require high energy use, emit more pollution and difficult to decompose. Instead we are using natural fiber which are biodegradable and natural dye as replacement to chemical coloring agents which are harmful to environment. We are proud of our organic batik which uses certified cotton (GOTS or Oeko-Tex) which is naturally dyed using botanical colors. We collaborate with batik artisans, hand-weaved ikat fabric & natural dye craftsmen in rural villages in Java. We also upcycle pre-consumer waste of textile, wood, leather waste from ethical factories and workshops across Indonesia.
