A final update from Nye Health We founded Nye Health with an ambitious mission: to harness the scale and engagement of emerging technology platforms to improve people’s quality and length of life. Inspired by NICE in the UK, an outstanding model of collective intelligence, we envisioned a future where digital tools would transform how patients, clinicians, and researchers collaborate to advance healthcare. Our journey and achievements The Nye Phone: Supported over 1.5 million NHS consultations during COVID-19 and enabled communications for the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine trial. Life sciences partnerships: Our strategic collaboration with Roche UK led to the development of a scalable patient engagement and real-world data platform, with two major use cases: Alzheimer’s: We built a platform to support what was hoped to be a first-in-class disease-modifying therapy, featuring decentralised EHR sharing, digital patient support, and real-world evidence generation. The project concluded after 18 months when the compound did not progress in trials. Roaccutane: We developed a platform for patient monitoring, safer prescribing, and regulatory compliance. It was envisioned as part of a 10 year decentralised pharmacovigilance initiative. The project stuttered following a change in global priorities. We aimed high and grew quickly, backed by the belief of our investors, partners, clinicians, and team. Unfortunately, due to a combination of circumstances, Nye Health had no viable path forward and ceased trading in spring 2025. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who shared in our vision, shareholders, advisors, employees, partners, and especially the patients and clinicians who placed their trust in us.
