About O.P. La Maggiolina
OP La Maggiolina (Association of Producers) is a company operating in organic farming and in the production of 1st range packaged salads. Our mission is to focus on, and promote, organic agricultural production. For us, ORGANIC means experimenting with new farming techniques, designed to respect natural cycles, which means being conscious of the environment, and minimising the use of chemical products. 🌿HISTORY and TRADITION: Santo Bellina, the founder, is a pioneer in Italy in the promotion of organic farming and is a true point of reference for Italian fruit and vegetable producers. Today OP La Maggiolina is made up of fourteen associate producers in three different regions of Italy: Lombardy, Campania and Veneto, and thanks to this we can offer our customers a bio product of consistent quality, 365 days a year. 🌿QUALITY: To guarantee quality every day, we are committed to constantly monitoring our production. All the raw material is produced by companies of the group and all processes are planned and monitored by a single team in continuous contact, through a computerized system enabling management and control of the supply chain. Each stage of cultivation in the fields is recorded in the so called “Farm diary” and the product is fully traceable from the seed to the packaging: we know the particle of soil that has produced every tray emerging from our production establishments. 🌿SUSTAINABILITY: Our concern for the environment is also reflected in the promotion of the concepts of reuse and sustainability. For this reason, through the services of Euro Pool and IFCO (certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP standards), we offer our customers the possibility to use a pooling service with a warehouse: the boxes, returned after being used, are washed and sanitized before being put back into circulation This is what defines us and allows us to better face future challenges!
